Join us in celebrating 175 years of our great club!
As part of our celebrations for turning 175, we're hosting a special anniversary dinner at Sophia Gardens, the home of Welsh Cricket on Friday 4 September.
We'd like to open the invite to this celebration to anyone that has been associated with the club over the years, using the night as an opportunity to re-unite players, volunteers, friends and family in celebrating a significant milestone for Penarth Cricket Club.
We're still working through some of the particulars for the night, such as the menu for the 3-course meal, the timings of the welcome drinks (likely to be 6pm onwards), so we'll keep this page updated and share updates across our other channels, but for now we're absolutely delighted to announce a jampacked line-up for the night:

- Phil Steele, the well-known Welsh Broadcasting legend will be our host.
- Matthew Hoggard, the charismatic opening bowler for England in the famous 2005 Ashes victory will be delivering some stories from his illustrious cricketing career that included 248 wickets in 67 tests.
- Tusker Duo, a local duo will be providing live music, with the double act bringing the tunes that’ll allow you to hit the dance floor and boogie the night away.
Other key information for the night:
- Tickets are £60, which includes welcome drinks and a 3-course meal
- The dress code is 'club tie & blazer', and for the ladies it's 'dress to impress', though these are only guidelines, your attendance is more important
- We'll be selling an anniversary club tie throughout the course of the season, and you can even purchase one as part of buying your ticket, so there's plenty of time and opportunity to order yourself a club tie if you'd like one (they're £10)
- The bar at Sophia Gardens will be card only, so no cash please
- Carriages at midnight (though this is to be confirmed)
