RETURN TO PLAY

OUTDOOR NETS ARRANGEMENTS during covid.
Up to now Penarth CC has been adhering to the government’s and ECB’s ruling that our facilities cannot be used. As a club we have adhered to this completely as, I hope, have all members.
On Friday 19th June the Welsh government allowed cricket outdoor nets to be used but only within strict guidelines and from Monday 22 June. The ECB has laid done clear advice which can be read here.
Your committee has been working hard to get the nets shipshape (clean/white screens/clear of weeds)but also comply with the guidelines and so these are summarised here but you should read the full guidance on the embedded link above. This is quite a bit of work and we ask members not to try to shortcut the system or make alternative suggestions.
Nets Manager Role*
To ensure that the above rules are complied with during a session:
Please bear with us as we get the new system in place. Clearly just pitching up to have a knock isn't possible at this time and so we ask everyone to be as supportive as possible.
